CONTROL SYSTEMS ENGINEER
RESPONSIBILITIES
We currently have a vacancy for a Control Systems Engineer with strong Siemens PLC experience. The engineer will be based from our office in the north east of England and will be responsible for specifying, designing and configuring system solutions for our customers within the manufacturing industries. The engineer will be responsible for all stages of the project lifecycle including liaison with customers and suppliers, design specifications, timing plans, software programming, installation, testing, fault finding, commissioning and handover to the customer.
EXPERIENCE
Candidates should have a good understanding of manufacturing environments and will be able to maintain and foster customer relationships. The successful applicant will have experience of SIEMENS S7 PLC´s, in addition they must be able to demonstrate experience of some of the following technologies;
SIEMENS WinCC FLEX
MACHINE VISION SYSTEMS
SIEMENS RFID SYSTEMS
PROFIBUS NETWORKS
INDUSTRIAL ETHERNET
AS-i and AS-i SAFE NETWORKS
MACHINE FUNCTIONAL SAFETY SYSTEMS
